Visit to The Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew
Arrive at The Grand Palace early (just after 08:30) to avoid the crowds and heat. Explore the majestic palace complex — including the ornate throne halls, grand courtyards, and royal architecture. Inside, visit the sacred Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), home to one of Thailand’s most revered Buddha statues.
The entrance ticket also gives you access to royal museums and heritage buildings within the compound. Remember to dress modestly (cover shoulders and knees) to comply with dress code rules. If you’re traveling with children under 120 cm tall, they enter free — perfect for a family trip. Plan for about 1.5–2.5 hours to properly enjoy the site without rushing.
